For the instructor
- Open MFDJ and start sharing your class.
- Display the QR code or send the invitation link.
- Teach as usual. Connected followers see the current cues, colors, countdowns, and class progress.
Each new class gets a fresh invitation. Free sharing runs for 30 minutes; Power Pack and active Studio Edition memberships, including active facility/admin memberships, allow unlimited sharing time.
For the rider
Scan the instructor’s QR code or open their full invitation. With MFDJ installed, you can follow in the app. On an iOS device without the app, choose the App Store or the Safari follower view. Other supported devices can follow in a browser.
Keep the follower screen open and your internet connection available. The link shares visual cues and timing; music continues through the instructor’s sound system.
Make effort personal
In MFDJ, optional Apple Watch feedback can show your heart rate and zone, with guidance toward the instructor’s cued zone. Compatible browsers can offer an optional Bluetooth sensor connection for current BPM.
A bigger screen?
A compatible browser on a larger display can open the invitation too. Browser support varies by television and device. Test the display before class, or use a connected device with a browser you know works.
Looking for a class right now?
You need your instructor’s complete invitation link or QR code. Opening the MFDJ Live home page alone does not connect you to a class.
